Greta Stockholm is the under-the-radar label that has become a quiet staple within the stately wardrobes of Swedish royals. Its latest appearance? An understated silk blouse worn by Princess Sofia during this week's state engagements

With Prince Carl Philip by her side, Princess Sofia recently met UNICEF’s Executive Director Catherine Russell in regal style. Exuding her characteristic poise and refinement for the philanthropic occasion, Sofia opted for the ‘Kathy’ high neck silk blouse from Greta Stockholm – a contemporary Swedish womenswear label that specialises in feminine florals, silks and preppy polka dot designs.

The Stockholm-based brand is no stranger to The House of Bernadotte. Crown Princess Victoria previously wore the same 'Kathy' blouse and matching skirt (in the blue and graphic floral iteration) for meetings with Sweden’s Parasports Federation at the Royal Palace last May.

At first glance, the neck-hugging top appears deceptively simple. But on closer inspection one can appreciate its polished row of silk-enrobed buttons, striking feminine silhouette and subtly structured shoulders. Another desirable quality is its versatility, an apt choice for more conservative dress codes, as for an elegant dinner party. As proven by the princess, it can be successfully teamed with loosely tailored trousers (or perhaps tucked into a pair of tapered black jeans) and bolstered further by way of gleaming gold accessories.

So, without further ado, take cues from the Swedish princesses' sophisticated approach to autumnal attire and shop the silk blouse below.
