Her Royal Highness, Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden has taken autumn occasionwear for a walk on the wild side – rewearing one of her wardrobe favourites by Stockholm-based Malina

This week, at the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize ceremony held at Stockholm’s Grand Hôtel, the heir to the Swedish throne shimmered in a sequin-encrusted gown by Malin Ek Andrén’s Scandinavian label Malina. Braving the autumn chill with glamour, the royal cut a regal figure in the ankle-skimming, long-sleeved silhouette, as she presented the evening’s highest honour to Dr. Gerald Tuskan for his pioneering research in the forest industry.

The beloved Crown Princess's appearance on the memorable Monday night also demonstrated her strong commitment to sustainable style, having previously opted for the statement sequin-encrusted number on a state visit to Frankfurt, Germany in November 2023, while supporting the entrepreneurial efforts of ‘Swedish-German Business Day’ at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s annual celebratory gala dinner.

This time, she chose to complement the sparkling leopard-print 'Madelyn' frock with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Gianvito Rossi stilettos, adding an elegant pair of Lalique 'empreinte' earrings as the final flourish. We think the princess warrants a round of applause for delivering the night's sartorial crowning glory and for doing so with such pragmatism and eco-friendly purpose.
