Fortunately, gorgeous florists and gardens are scattered all over Stockholm, and whether you’re looking for gifts, some gardening inspiration or simply a little weekend excursion, here are the best options in town.

1

Bruun Blommor

Located in the heart of Östermalm, Bruun Blommor is a charming flower shop that's easy to spot despite its relatively tiny size thanks to an impressive entrance, perennially decorated in seasonal greenery. Walk through their gorgeous arch of flowers to browse through pots, plants, bouquets, and freshly cut flowers – whether you’re looking for something green to elevate the outside or inside of your home, Bruun has you covered.

Adding a bit of Parisian flare to Stockholm, Petit Marche is an extremely Instagrammable gem where Östermalm meets Vasastan and is the go-to for both your caffeine and flower fixes. Watch the locals flock to this coffee-come-flower shop to grab a couple of hydrangeas while sipping on some select brews by the tables outside. Atelier Fleur

This Söder-favourite delivers their flowers all over the city, but a visit to Atelier Fleur's shop in SoFo is an experience in itself. Tucked between Bondegatan and Skånegatan, the location is marked by a flourish of pretty arrangements, with plants and flowers dotted out and about on the street outside. Don't be surprised if it takes you at least a few minutes browsing all the colourful offerings outside before you even step through their doors, but when you do, you'll be greeted by even more green goodies.

Flowery

Renowned for their unique selections of cut flowers, one of Flowery’s best and most popular services is their customised flower subscriptions where you decide what style and colours you prefer and how often you want a gorgeous bouquet to arrive at your door. A visit to their Vasastan store is a must as well, where you'll find large tables with vibrant flowers on display, a vast selection of quirky, playful vases and lovely hand-cast candles.

Located just a few minutes from the city centre, this garden, flower shop and café is the perfect weekend escape for a boost of inspiration to upgrade your gardening game. Redeko Flowers

Struggling to keep even a cactus alive? Fret not! A smart solution that even the lightest shade of green fingers can handle is artificial flowers and Redeko Flower’s selection of bouquets and plants can challenge the sharpest of eyes to tell the difference from a real plant. Create your own flower bouquets for your home that will survive travels and a busy lifestyle, or make sure your garden looks flawless all year round.

Rosendals Trädgård

A local favourite with a countryside feel in the middle of the city, is Rosendals on Djurgården, where you can find a large selection of seeds, plants, flowers and everything you need for your growing habit in their “Plantbod”. Their assortment changes seasonally and they mostly work with local suppliers (some plants are even grown in their own garden). Don’t forget to check out their quaint shop and charming cafe during your visit too – their carrot cake is delicious.
