Following the previous week's return of the Met Gala, it’s been all things glitz and glamour for our favourite Scandinavian stars.
This week marked the return of the annual film-and-fashion spectacle that is the Cannes Film Festival, where a host of Scandi talents descended on the French Riviera. From the premiere of Fjords, starring former Vogue Scandinavia cover star Renate Reinsve, to appearances from names including Alicia Vikander, Scandinavia was well represented both on and off the red carpet.
Among our standout favourites was Frida Gustavsson, who delivered a masterclass in all-black wearing a full Toteme look. The model and actress wore a sculptural all-black, off-the-shoulder ensemble, elevated with sparkling Cartier bijoux. Also embracing monochrome dressing was Stellan Skarsgård, who stepped out in refined, off-carpet tailoring, proving once again that classic suiting never goes out of style.
Elsewhere, Scandinavia’s style set continued to turn heads. Influencer Elin Warn served up effortless holiday dressing, pairing pieces from Gem Wear with playful Miu Miu accessories. Amalie Bladt, in Paris, shone in Georges Hobeika, as she wore a sheer embroidered khaki dress, paired with Loewe heels.
