As awards season reached its dazzling crescendo, the 2026 Oscars brought Hollywood’s biggest stars to Los Angeles for a night of cinematic celebration and unforgettable style. From enduring designer loyalties to fresh fashion turns, the red carpet delivered a final glittering showcase of the season’s most talked-about looks
Last night we witnessed the grand finale of awards season: the 2026 Oscars. Taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Conan O’Brien hosted for the second year in a row. What came to define the 98th annual Academy Awards? Historic wins, awkward jokes, and of course, the fashion.
The critical darlings of Sinners, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, and Sentimental Value pulled out all the fashion stops. There were custom designs, debuts, and re-ups (for a second year in a row, both Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet stayed loyal and wore Givenchy by Sarah Burton), and more than a few beauty transformations.
The attendee list was equal parts starry and surprising – couples moments were a big deal: Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams got cosy on the red carpet, while Kylie Jenner skipped it to keep on supporting Chalamet from the inside. But who guaranteed their spot on the best Oscar dresses of all time list? We’re excited to keep discussing.
With the 2026 Oscars wrapped, you can re-cap and scroll through all of the fashion looks below.
Congratulations to all of the winners!
