With awards season in full swing, the 2026 Oscar nominations are here. See how Norwegian film Sentimental Value fares – and explore the full list of nominees ahead of the 98th Academy Awards
It’s time: with a turbulent awards season in full swing, the 2026 Oscar nominations are here, throwing yet another spanner into an already fiercely competitive awards race. One Battle After Another remains the seemingly unstoppable frontrunner to beat, Hamnet is surging following its surprise Best Drama victory at the Golden Globes, Sinners still has the capacity to be the dark horse, and Marty Supreme shouldn’t be counted out in many of the key categories, given the relentless push it’s being given by Best Actor frontrunner Timothée Chalamet.
Ahead of the 98th Academy Awards on 15 March, see the nominations list in full below, as revealed by The Color Purple’s Danielle Brooks and *The Testament of Ann Lee’*s Lewis Pullman on 22 January.
