A notable royal fashion moment recently unfolded as Queen Mary of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Sofia of Sweden elegantly showcased the masterful craftsmanship of their respective nations, each selecting exquisite designs from their home countries.

On the first Sunday of Advent, the Danish royal family took to Instagram to share a rather wholesome moment: the decorating of their tree and lighting of the first Advent candle. Whilst we revelled in what can only be described as a beautifully hygge moment, our sartorial eyes were trained on the delightfully Danish diamonds decorating Queen Mary's ears.

Looking elegant in a monochromatic brown ensemble, the monarch added a festive sparkle with the Boucle Ensemble earring from Copenhagen brand Sophie Bille Brahe, crafted from 18k recycled yellow gold.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden also opted for sophisticated brown hues during an information council at the Royal Palace in Stockholm – and followed suit with glittering, locally-produced earrings.

The heir to the Swedish throne paired a skirt from H&M with Bouclé gold-plated hoop earrings from Skultuna, a Västerås-based company and long-time court supplier to the Swedish Royal Family.

Former *Vogue Scandinavia *cover star Princess Sofia of Sweden also stepped out this week to mark the 200th anniversary of the Rosendal Vase at Älvadent in Stockholm. For the occasion, the royal cut a refined figure in an off-white coat by Finnish label Andiata and sleek black leather boots. But it was her choice of jewellery that truly stole the scene: a pair of bold, geometric silver studs from Swedish brand Edblad. With her hair swept back into a neat ponytail, the Princess let the sculptural earrings take centre stage.

Later, in a portrait released for her 41st birthday, the Princess opted for celestial-themed jewellery by Swedish brand Engelbert. With her hair in a simple centre part and dressed in a classic black top, she kept the focus on a personalised necklace featuring the zodiac signs of her four children: Aries for Prince Alexander and Prince Julian, Virgo for Prince Gabriel, and Aquarius for Princess Ines.
