As Pandora unveils another standout collection, we look to the trio of celebrities trying out the trove of Talismans on offer and break down the meanings of their selected pieces
Just weeks ago, Pandora launched its newest collection, Talisman, and it’s clear the world has gone mad for it. Inspired by ancient coins and crafted from a mix of sterling silver and 14K plated gold, the collection aims to be a modern symbol of identity, featuring powerful inscriptions and images – each piece serving as a reminder of power, authenticity, and self-assurance.
Beyond us ordinary mortals, celebrities have also been seen exploring this treasure trove of Talisman pieces. At the launch party for the collection in New York last night, a trio of A-listers were teeming with Talismans of all different varieties, and moral values the brand had on offer. Below, we delve into the mass of tokens donned by Tyla, Pamela Anderson and FKA Twigs, to decipher the meanings of their individual combinations.
Tyla

Clearly as passionate about the Talisman collection as we are, Tyla turned up to the festivities decked out in numerous pieces from the range. The South African singer, who had worn a similar array of charms to the VMAs the night before, once again pulled out all the stops, wearing layer upon layer of the Danish brand's new collection.
Nominated across two categories at the previous night's awards, Tyla opted for an abundance of symbols from the collection to pair with her look. From head to toe, she was stacked in silver and gold, including multiples of the brands Lion medallion engraved 'Vita Veritas Virtus' (or 'life, honesty, courage'), and the Crossing Arrows charm, which reads 'Ad Meliora' (or 'Towards Better Things'): symbols of strength, preserverance and self worth.

After hosting celebrations for the collection's launch at Copenhagen Fashion Week last month, Pamela Anderson was seen teeming in Talismans at the collections launch in New York. Characteristically fresh-faced, The Naked Gun star donned an all black shirt and skirt look from Ukrainian brand Bevza, allowing her layers of Talismans to stand out against the plain background.
Around her neck, similarly to fellow brand ambassador Tyla, Anderson wore the large Crossed Arrows charm and Lion medallion, a symbol of progression and joyful times ahead. She teamed this with the Pegasus medallion – a mixture of gold plating, sterling silver and artificial mother of pearl – which carries the inscription 'Ex Animo', or 'From the Heart.'
Most meaningful of all, however, Anderson was also seen laden with multiple gold Swallow Medallions from the collection. Engraved 'Dum Vita Est Spes Est', or 'Where There is Life There is Hope,' this charm is a symbol of life-affirming strength to be carried with you always.

Also in attendance was English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs, as suitably swathed in symbols as Tyla and Anderson. The Eusexua singer, who wore a two-piece from Vietnamese brand Fancì Club and sky-high Louboutins, delighted attendees with a surprise performance, singing hits including 'Cellophane' and 'Home With You', accompanied by a harpist.
The soothing tones of her singing were not the only sound to be heard, however, as the artist's wrists were laden with Pandora Talismans, tinkling with her every move. Amidst the silver strands sat the Skull Medallion from the Danish brand, which featured the words 'Carpe Diem', or 'Seize the day' – a piece that dares the wearer to live boldly and with abandon.
Also featured by the star was the Infinity Snake Medallion. Featuring a flush-set clear cubic zirconia, the charm is engraved 'Memento Vivere', Latin for 'Remember to Live'. Such words call for the wearer to shed the past and embrace what lies ahead.
