Yesterday evening Danish brand Pandora took over the stunning Glyptoteket museum for an unforgettable evening in three parts to celebrate its forthcoming new collection. Hosted by brand ambassador Pamela Anderson and featuring a menu based on her own cookbook, it was a night that was both grand and personal

Pandora knows its way around a good story and yesterday evening, in the extraordinary halls of Glyptoteket museum in Copenhagen, the beloved Danish brand wove an unforgettable narrative. Tastemakers and editors, It girls and creatives gathered for an immersive sensory experience in three acts. Hosted by brand ambassador Pamela Anderson (fresh off her impossibly charming and well-dressed press tour for The Naked Gun), it was the sort of night sure to come up in stories told well into the future.

The night kicked off, as all great dinner parties must, with an elegant cocktail, after which guests were led through the museum – including a sneak peak of Pandora's new collection launching on 28th August, presented elegantly as an art exhibition – before arriving in the grand Central Hall. Naturally, many guests wore Pandora jewellery – gold and silver chains, delicate charms, lab-grown diamonds – stacked and combined, mixed and matched to reflect their personal taste. These personal expressions were a reflection of the new campaign itself, which emphasises the meaning and emotions tied to one’s jewellery.

The single long table – set in a U formation to mirror the square, mosaic-tiled hall – was exquisitely presented, with delicate flower details and a bespoke Pandora snake chain (a one-off creation for the event) set at every place. The butter, meanwhile, was embossed with the brand’s sweet refrain: 'Signed With Love'. For a personal touch, celebrated chef Lasse Askov based the evening’s menu on dishes found in Anderson’s own cookbook, I Love You: Recipes from the Heart. In her welcome speech, Anderson quipped that she looked forward to seeing her humble recipes interpreted by a renowned chef for a crowd of 100-plus guests. Indeed the vegan dishes – a panzanella salad to start, followed by a hearty stewed white bean main – were utterly delicious. Ahead of dessert, a stunning live piano performance by Danish composer August Rosenbaum and singer Erika de Casier echoed through the room.

The dinner was just one memorable Pandora moment during Copenhagen Fashion Week. This season, not only is Pandora an official partner of the fashion week, its also the primary partner and patron of the CPHFW NewTalent programme, an initiative that goes hand in hand with the brand’s dedication to self-expression. Today, meanwhile, Pandora welcomes editors and tastemakers into their Copenhagen flagship store to privately view the forthcoming collection as well as the new collection centred around the brand’s lab-grown diamonds. Though Pandora is a global power player, it is at its very heart Danish; a vital part to the local fashion community, using its influence and success to build up the scene locally. What better way to signify this than by throwing a world class fashion week dinner, personalised with thoughtful touches and hosted by one of the world’s biggest stars?

As dinner wound down, guests relocated to the dance floor in the plant-filled Winter Garden to enjoy a cocktail or two as a DJ spun lively tunes. It was, evidently, a story few wanted to end. A night as dazzling as a lab-grown diamond.
