Minna Weber doesn’t need a shot of espresso to jolt her awake. She relies on something a touch colder, instead. The Copenhagen-based creative tailors her routine to how she feels and where she’s headed. Her essentials? A pump of hyaluronic acid, a faceful of ice, and a distinctly ’90s lip combo. Here, she lets us in on the low-effort habits that keep her glowing from early morning skin prep to late-night liner touch-ups
Could you share your daily beauty routine with us, from morning prep to evening wind-down? What products are essential at each step?
"The first thing I do in the morning, is to wash my face, and then I always apply moisturiser and a hyaluronic acid serum. It’s important to make sure I keep my skin moisturised before doing my makeup. Soft, hydrated skin makes makeup application so much nicer and then it also lasts better throughout the day, no drying out or creasing! Besides that, I love icing my face in the morning, especially if I'm feeling a little puffy – it’s a great way to wake up your skin (and mind).
If I'm wearing my hair curly, it’s essential for me to put on some curl cream after washing so that it stays more defined throughout the day. If I'm wearing it straight, I will always put in a hair oil, as my hair can get a lot more dry when I straighten it. I don’t have a “10-step skincare routine” at night, I definitely feel like less is more when it comes to skincare. My skin always looks its best when I simply remove my makeup, cleanse my skin and put on a moisturiser."

How do you transition your look from daytime to evening? Are there specific products or techniques you find indispensable?
"I love to start the day with a natural look and then turn to dramatic glam for the evening. I do this using a bold lip, a bold eye, or even both! Eyeliner is a great way to elevate a look from day to night, I just love how it can make your appearance go from cute to sultry. I also love a dark brown lip liner, to really get that '90s Hollywood feel. When it comes to hair, volume! The bigger the better if you ask me – whether it’s a blowout, or big curly hair, I love the visual drama it provides on a night out."
What products do you always have in your handbag – whether headed for a night out or for a red-eye flight?
"It’s absolutely essential for me to always carry a good pressed powder for touch ups! Other than that, a lip butter/oil. Specifically, Ole Henriksen's lip treatments... they are amazing! I’ve also been loving the Kylie Cosmetics lip butter. I think it's so important to keep your lips nourished, especially now since we’re heading towards colder months in Copenhagen. A lip liner is another essential in my everyday bag, along with any small perfume. I’ve recently been bringing my Miss Dior Solid Perfume Sticks with me everywhere. They smell so yummy, and they’re so easy and effortless to apply!"

What is your holy grail beauty product that you would recommend to anyone, and why?
"My lip combo! I use the Wonderskin lip stain in the shade “Whimsical,” and then I rotate between the “Cork” and “Plum” lipliners by MAC for my daily lip look."
If you could give your younger self one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
"Everyone has different features, so instead of copying other peoples beauty routines, curate your own! It’s always great to take inspiration from others, but figuring out what works for you specifically – your face, your skin, your hair – is a game changer. I think makeup can be great for a confidence boost, but I think it's important to enhance your own features without trying to look like someone else. Embrace your unique beauty and be yourself!"
