Kelly Rutherford is quite the sartorial Scandi fiend. Now, she furthers her Nordic wardrobe prowess as she stars in Norwegian brand The Curated's autumn campaign
What began as a small passion project during founder Nicola Harlem's pregnancy has grown into one of the Nordic region's most notable brands: The Curated. Built on the belief that good quality should be accessible (and on the shoulders of ineffable double-faced cashmere coats available at a steal), the understated brand has attracted some celebrity attention — most notably, Kelly Rutherford.
Best known as Lily van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, Rutherford is a style maven with a wardrobe already brimming with Nordic design talents. She is frequently spotted sporting styles by brands like Sania D'Mina, Munthe and Marimekko. But how did she discover The Curated and Harlem? “We met when I wandered into her store in Copenhagen," Rutherford shares. After "living in" one of The Curated's coats that winter, she fell in love with the brand.
The campaign naturally followed the blossoming relationship. Commenting on the collaboration, Harlem shared, “Kelly is the perfect person to represent our brand because she inspires so many people out there with both her style and personality." Highlighting Rutherford's genuine and elegant qualities, the founder added, "It is an absolute dream to have her be part of our journey." A sentiment Rutherford shares, as she adds, she is "thrilled to be part of this campaign."
The campaign is shot by Australian photographer Dan Roberts on the streets of Copenhagen and inside of The Curated's flagship store on Christian IX’s gade 10, 1111 København.
