Could you share your daily beauty routine with us, from morning prep to evening wind-down?
"In the morning, I rinse my face with ice-cold water. It’s such a refreshing way to start the day and really helps wake me up, especially as a tired mom. Then I use my cleanser from Klairs, which is gentle and perfect for mornings. After that, I apply my rice toner. I’m on my fourth bottle. It’s super gentle and gives a lovely glow. It also works really well as a base before serum and moisturizer.
Next, I apply the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum for dark spots, followed by moisturizer. I actually use two. Weleda Skin Food goes under my eyes or on dry areas, and the Caudalie Anti-Dark Spot cream is for the rest of my face. I always finish with sunscreen. If I’m wearing makeup, I use The Ordinary’s SPF serum. If not, I go for the Caudalie Protect Stick. Both give a really nice glow.
My evening routine is similar, but I always double cleanse at night. I start with the Caudalie cleansing oil, then go in with the Klairs cleanser. Depending on how my skin is feeling, I’ll choose between different serums. I usually rotate between the Caudalie serum and The Ordinary’s niacinamide. Then I finish with moisturizer, always. Once a week, I skip everything and let my skin rest overnight."

How do you transition your look from daytime to evening? Are there specific products or techniques you find indispensable?
During the day, I like to keep things very natural. Usually just a skin tint and a bit of blush. But if I’m going out in the evening, whether it’s dinner with friends or my husband, I’ll add a little extra to bring in some sparkle. I find that proper skin prep is the best way to look fresh and radiant for the evening.
What products do you always have in your handbag – whether headed for a night out or for a red-eye flight?
Lip balm is an absolute must. I’m obsessed with the Summer Fridays one in vanilla and carry it everywhere. It’s perfect for touch-ups and keeps my lips hydrated. If I’m going out, I’ll also bring a bronzer or mattifying powder. My t-zone gets oily, so I often need a quick refresh.

What is your holy grail beauty product that you would recommend to anyone, and why?
There’s a body cream called Helosan that I’ve used for years. It’s the best thing I’ve found for dry skin. When I’m in Sweden during the winter, I always apply it. It gives an instant moisture boost. I usually avoid using it on my face unless my skin is very dry.
My other go-to isn’t something you can buy. It’s a homemade face mask. I love mashing avocado and applying it to my face, or mixing turmeric and honey for a glow-boosting treatment. Both leave my skin feeling amazing.
If you could give your younger self one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
Wear sunscreen. I only started using it regularly in recent years, and I wish I had made it a habit much earlier.
