Swedish heartthrob Edvin Ryding sported bright red leather at the world premiere of 28 Years Later
Edvin Ryding is in the midst of a sartorial hot streak. From his coordinated couple’s look with girlfriend Felicia Maxime at January’s Guldbagge Gala to the regal ensemble (channelling his princely Young Royals persona) he wore for his Oscars debut, Ryding has really come into his own on the red carpets this year.
Last night’s outing in London provided further proof of his fashion prowess. Attending the world premiere of 28 Years Later, Ryding opted for a custom red leather look by Danish brand Samsøe Samsøe. Worn with a black unbuttoned shirt and a Cartier necklace, the ensemble captured the exact blend of brooding nonchalance and sharp, military precision we’ve come to expect from the prince-turned-soldier.

In the highly anticipated third instalment of the post-apocalyptic horror franchise, Ryding takes on the role of Erik Sundqvist, a Swedish NATO soldier stationed with the North Sea Patrol who finds himself on the mainland of North East England. His co-stars (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, and Jodie Comer to name a few) delivered equally striking looks, setting a high bar for the franchise’s grand return.
The film, 28 Years Later, debuts worldwide June 20th.
