Appearing on the streets of Paris in two top-to-toe Valentino looks, Edvin Ryding and Felicia Maxime solidify themselves as street style stars

There were two familiar faces nestled in the star-studded Valentino front row: Swedish actors Edvin Ryding and Felicia Maxime. It’s a duo we oft see together; Maxime also appears in Young Royals, the vehicle that turned Ryding into a superstar. They both star in Swedish thriller The Abyss and, this spring, we’ll see the pair once more as romantic leads in the Sigge Eklund-directed Netflix film En del av dig (A Part of You). But yesterday, Maxime and Ryding also solidified themselves as a bona fide street style stars.

Attending the Valentino show in Paris (and wearing top-to-toe Pierpaolo Piccioli-designed looks from the house), Ryding and Maxime offered two distinct takes on Scandinavian minimalism. Ryding went the punky route, with spiked hair (courtesy of hairstylist Timothy Aylward), relaxed light wash denim and a crisp white shirt with scarf detail. Maxime, meanwhile, embodied a coquettish femininity, wearing a black and white mini dress and pointy Rockstud heels. Both stars carried small black Valentino bags.

As if this well-coordinated (but not too coordinated) moment weren’t enough, that same evening the duo changed into two more minimalist Valentino moments. Ryding opted for a blue-grey suit, mirroring the scarf detail of his daytime look, and Maxime wearing yet another sweet mini, this time in white. Two fashion icons – ahem, two members of fashion royalty – are born.
