Anine Bing’s latest chapter is not the clean pivot you might expect. It is messier, braver and far more revealing. We sit with the Danish founder to explore a creative and personal renaissance driven by music, rediscovery and a life she is shaping for herself

The last time we met Anine Bing in 2023, she was living in an idyllic home in Montecito with her husband and business partner, Nicolai Stampe Bing, and their two children. The eponymous brand she had started in a garage with 10 styles and a small webshop had grown into a global force, marking its 10-year anniversary with a Kate Moss collaboration.

Since then, much has changed. Bing, now divorced, is back in Los Angeles with her children and moving through a new chapter that has reshaped every corner of her life. “A couple of years ago I got really burned out,” she says, dialling in from her home wearing a cashmere sweater of her own design. Exhausted from doing too much, the Danish blogger-turned-business-maven took a pause and decided to start therapy. “I asked myself what I really want out of this one life and what I am going to do with it,” she says. “I felt I was not living my truth or feeling fulfilled in all the ways I wanted to be.”

For this story, shot in around Anine’s stunning new Parisian HQ in the 8th arrondissement, Anine forgoes her typical uniform (jeans and a tshirt) to dress in elegant French designs.
