These are the pieces from Toga's new collaboration with H&M that caught the Vogue Scandinavia staffers' attention

Upon the release of Japanese brand Toga Archive’s hyped collaboration with H&M, fashion editors are rushing to get their hands on the coveted pieces from the collection. Drawing on its avant-garde-yet-accessible archive, Toga reimagined their classic silhouettes for H&M. In the look book – set against the brutalist backdrop of London’s Barbican Estate – hybridised trench coats and deconstructed shirts paired perfectly with plissé skirts and tailored trousers. Exuberant accessories, from statement necklaces and earrings to dainty pumps and thigh-high cowboy heels – We craved every part of the perfectly curated collection. As typical with an H&M designer collaboration, most of the pieces sold out instantly.

Here, the Vogue Scandinavia team chooses the H&M x Toga items they loved the most:

Sophia Roe, Fashion Editor Denmark

"I always tend to fall in love with classics, most often a masculine fit with a feminine details. I would wear this effortlessly cool and perfectly versatile shirt with jeans and sneakers during office hours and change in to a kitten heel for dinner." - Sophia Roe

Allyson Shiffman, Senior Fashion Writer

"The black hoodie section in my closet is so robust it's embarrassing, so what's one more?" - Allyson Shiffman

Jennifer Nilsson, Social and Commercial Media Editor

"I can't say no to a pair of black minimalistic trousers - and the fact that this pair is sporting an over-sized scarf for a belt makes them that much better. I’ll be wearing these Toga x H&M trousers styled with a bulky t-shirt, golden earrings and a pair of chunky heels." - Jennifer Nilsson

Mona M Ali, Diversity and Inclusion Editor

"You can come a long way with a trench coat as it could be a whole outfit on its own if you ask me. I love the hidden black latex detailing, it is definitely an alternative look for a night out. Think of it as a dress and trench coat in-one." - Mona M Ali

Natalie Setterwall, Digital editor

"I'm a huge fan of the statement necklace, a trend that never died with me. I'd pair this one with a black a-line leather skirt and black turtleneck. Who said turquoise cant be worn in autumn?" - Natalie Setterwall

Eliza Sörman Nilsson, Deputy digital editor

"I've always regarded the over-the-knee boot trend as too tricky to master, however this season – spurred on by Toga x H&M – I'm ready to reconsider. I'll be wearing these over blue jeans with a chunky knit come winter or maybe even give them a spin with a tweed mini." - Eliza Sörman Nilsson

Esteban G Villanueva, Junior Beauty Editor

"There is nothing I love more than a good long coat and this one, with a stunning vintage scarf motif, combines the best of both worlds: business in the front, party in the back." - Esteban G Villanueva

Josefin Forsberg, Junior Fashion Writer

"Nothing screams statement as a pair of sparkly stirrup leggings. Fully embracing the silver trend this autumn, I plan to pair these with kitten heeled mules, an over-sized cashmere knit and a black floor skimming coat for optimal dramatic effect." - Josefin Forsberg

Amelie Langenskiöld, Fashion Assistant

"With the season for transitional dressing upon us, it's time to update the wardrobe with a long statement skirt. This is definitely the item I’d make sure to get my hands on." - Amelie Langenskiöld
