Vanbruun’s latest launch pairs fine jewellery with purpose, created in partnership with Queen Silvia’s World Childhood Foundation. The result: a capsule of colourful, emblematic charms designed to honour – and help protect – the innocence and safety of children worldwide
With the festive season comes an annual avalanche of small indulgences. Fine jewellery purchases inevitably make the cut, topping countless wishlists and sparkling irresistibly within department store windows. Yet few pieces promise to make a genuine, lasting difference to the lives of others.
That’s where Swedish jewellery house Vanbruun steps in. Known for its refined Scandinavian craftsmanship, the brand has partnered with Queen Silvia of Sweden’s World Childhood Foundation – an organisation that, since 1999, has worked tirelessly to protect children from abuse, exploitation and unsafe living conditions. Over the past 25 years, Childhood has supported more than 1,300 initiatives worldwide and helped establish Barnahus child advocacy centres across multiple countries, ensuring vulnerable children are met with dignity and safety.

It’s this mission that underpins Vanbruun’s newly-unveiled Childhood collection. “With this collection, we want to create something even greater: the opportunity for more chidlren to have memories filled with joy, safety, and love,” says Vanbruun founder and CEO Victor Halvarsson. “This initiative and collaboration are something we are incredibly proud of.”
The capsule marks Vanbruun’s first foray into charitable jewellery: a series of emblematic charms and pendants designed not only to be worn, but to hold meaning. With carefully selected symbols and letters, some adorned with enamel or diamonds, available in either synthetic or natural variants, each charm carries its own story. From the playful mushroom and cherry to the timeless heart, the lucky four-leaf clover, and personalised letters, every detail represents a moment of joy and connection.
At the collection's heart, however, is the delicate 'Hand in Hand' necklace, depicting a child’s hand held safely within an adult’s – a powerful symbol of closeness, trust and care. Alongside chains available in 18 carat white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as 950 platinum, the charms can be worn individually or combined to create a wholly personal statement.

Crucially, the collection makes a tangible impact. Vanbruun has pledged a minimum donation of 500,000 SEK to support Childhood’s vital programmes, with an additional 10% from each individual sale going directly to the foundation. In this light, every charm doubles as both an adornment and an act of advocacy – a gift that truly gives back.
