Since 2008, Jan Thomas Studio has been an Oslo institution. Opening his first salon (located just behind the Norwegian palace), Thomas later expanded to the affluent Frogner neighbourhood (2017) and beyond. Since 2010, Agnes Gulbrandsen and Linn Jøssang Helgelands have established its three Gevir hair salons as some of the coolest spots for a hair cut in Oslo. Here, creativity for creativity's sake is scrapped in lieu of beauty and well-being, with the salon's stylists striving to make you feel like your best self through highly-personalised cuts.
Across the salons three locations Grünerløkka, Majorstuen and Gevir Boutique, Gevir's stylists are a skilled bunch frequently tapped for their expertise by the fashion industry.
