It all began in 2005, when Koponen won the televised Mallikoulu (Model School) contest, earning a contract with international top modelling agency Women Management. Within just a few seasons, she was one of the most in-demand models of the late 2000s – known for her cool, tattooed Nordic allure and effortless walk.

Suvi travlled to Kailo Island in Finland to bring high fashion to Moominvalley.
