Stylein presented the perfect packing list for a summer holiday this season

At Stylein, we were invited on a summer jaunt around Europe.

The brand explained during their Stockholm Fashion Week presentation that instead of drawing inspiration from tangiable things, people or popular culture, they aim to create a world inhabited by their muse. For the spring/summer 2022 collection she started her summer in London, wrapped up in large taupe scarves to combat the office aircon. Next, a trip to Athens, where the Stylein muse enjoyed a mid-summer city break in a striped set consisting of a puffed up top and midi skirt. Finally, we went to Ibiza for a beach holiday with an all black ensemble - a linen caftan layered over a fish net skirt and swimsuit.

The stand out detail of the collection was the focus on exposed backsides. A sartorial take on the fashion mullet - Beautifully scrunched up necklines extended down revealing the models’ shoulder blades in a sexy yet demure way. Overall, the collection’s straight forward silhouettes in sand, coral and navy set against the basic black and white made for the ultimate summer wardrobe.
