Acne Studios x Spotify took over the Fonda Theatre for a one-night-only celebration of Robyn’s comeback, drawing a host of VIPs to the heart of Hollywood

Los Angeles played host to a rare sonic spectacle last week as Acne Studios and Spotify welcomed VIP guests and top fans to An Evening with Robyn at the historic Fonda Theatre. The Swedish pop icon – long considered a member of the Acne Studios family – took to the stage for an electric, marking her highly anticipated return after seven years without new music.

Before Robyn emerged, the mood was set by rising stars Isabella Lovestory and BROWNSKINHAZEL, who had the crowd primed with their high-voltage opening sets. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: Robyn, bathed in cinematic lighting, delivering a setlist that moved deftly between nostalgia and newness. Beloved anthems 'Missing You' and 'Dancing On My Own' rang through the theatre, while fans were treated to the first-ever live performance of her new single 'Dopamine', alongside unreleased material hinting at what’s to come.

The night continued the creative partnership between Acne Studios and Spotify, first announced in July 2024, built around forging deeper connections between artists and fans. For this edition, Robyn’s top Spotify listeners in Los Angeles were invited to join Acne Studios friends and collaborators for an exclusive Friends & Family experience – a rare chance to witness the artist in such an intimate setting.

For those who couldn’t be there in person, the magic isn’t lost: the one-night-only performance was recorded and will be released exclusively on Spotify in early 2026.
