Levi's, J.Lindeberg, and more. These are the delightful denim brands awaiting Sellpy shoppers this month as influencer Philippa Parnevik teams up with the second-hand platform
Denim is delightfully perennial … much like cheese or wine, it only improves with age. It’s little wonder, then, that many opt to shop their jeans second-hand. The fit and fabric of denim from bygone decades remain unrivalled, cementing its place as one of fashion’s most coveted categories.
Making those pre-loved denim finds more accessible than ever is Sellpy, the Swedish resale giant founded in 2014. In just over a decade, it has become Scandinavia’s go-to destination for second-hand heroes. From Gina Tricot staples to vintage Saint Laurent gems, Sellpy is where you’ll uncover treasures that bring new life to old favourites.
It is no wonder, then, that this was the platform selected by Stockholm style profile Philippa Parnevik, daughter of Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik, to release a curated collection of her family's denim archive. "I love that Sellpy makes second-hand shopping super accessible and curated," says Parnevik. "They're doing something good for the planet and making it easy to find special pieces - it felt like the perfect match."

Amidst the collection, which will be released on September 7th, come pieces from not only Parnevik, but her parents and siblings. "A lot of them come from the early 2000s," she explains. "You can really see that in the silhouette and fits. Each pair carries a memory, a moment, a story."
"Growing up in our family, there were no real fashion rules," she says, reflecting that her father was the "fashion diva" of the family, having multiple outfit changes a day "just for fun." "Everyone just wore whatever made them feel good. That freedom definitely shaped how I see clothes."

From her upbringing, the influencer fully believes in clothing transcending gender. "Mix it up, make it your own, and have fun with it," she adds. "Don't let men's or women's labels stop you – everything can be unisex if you want it to be. The best outfits come from experimenting."

So why, from a family that seems to adore clothing, are some many jeans and pants being parted with? " A lot of these pants have been lying around and not in use," explains Parnevik. "I want these clothes to live on and make other people happy."
Other than being wonderfully sustainable, this is where the joy in second-hand shopping comes from for the influencer. "It's beautiful really. Clothes can hold so much energy and memory. Passing them on feels like storytelling - someone else gets to add their own chapter to the piece."
The collection will be available from the 7th September on Sellpy.com.
