Why we're raving over Rosalía's Rave Review moment

It's not the first time the Spanish singer-songwriter has showcased her penchant for Swedish design

The last time we checked in on Rosalía, the Spanish singer was in the midst of a 70-date tour (with Acne Studios' Jonny Johansson designing no less than 128 looks for the global circuit). Since the tour wrapped up in Paris back in July, it's undoubtedly been a quieter time for the 31-year-old. While basking in the success of her Grammy-winning Motomami album, she's just been spotted in a (fittingly) subdued design by the Stockholm-based brand Rave Review.

In a characteristically candid and unfiltered Instagram 'photo dump' captioned 'What are you doing today?' in Spanish, Rosalía shared a snap of herself in the mirror, bare-faced and relaxed with undone hair, wearing a white lace dress from the brand's spring/summer '24 collection. Yet to drop online for purchase, the dress – which was the third look sent down the Rave Review runway by Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück at Milan Fashion Week – is formed of spliced sheer and floral lace panels, falling into a romantic handkerchief hemline.

Rave Review SS24 at Milan Fashion Week.

Best known for its upcycling and patchwork prowess with clashing tartans and bold prints, Rave Review turned a corner with its SS24 collection, opting for a more understated and subtle approach. Despite this, the collection – and Rosalía's dress – still oozes the brand's signature grunge attitude that we love, and clearly, the Spanish superstar is a fan too.
