With rave-like energy, Remain presented a selection of 1990s nostalgia on their runway for Spring/Summer 2022
Celebration was in the air at Remain as they presented their Spring/Summer 2022 collection among the ecclesiastic arches of Nikolaj Kunsthall. Inspired by the urge to be set free after a year in confinement, creative director Denise Christensen drew on the dynamism of crowds and spontaneous connections to conduct a rave-like energy throughout the show.
Referencing the athletic elements and ostentatious attitude of the 1990s, an array of biker shorts, baggy tracksuit bottoms and low-cut jeans were styled with slinky slip tops and and bomber jackets. A tight-fitting knit halter neck dress perfectly embodied the decade's sultry silhouettes. The brand’s signature leather in bright colours and a top crafter from sparkling silver mesh were instant attention grabbers.
