Pandora takes its Talisman Collection to celestial new heights, expanding the range with a Zodiac-inspired chapter

The Cambridge Dictionary defines a talisman as “an object believed to bring good luck or to keep its owner safe from harm”. Today, it could also be defined as an item of unique and individual beauty, as it is the name of Pandora’s collection of precious pieces steeped in personal symbolism.

Pandora’s first Talisman collection, launched at the tail end of 2025, was inspired by ancient coins, replete with motifs and Latin inscriptions that echo the centuries-old origins of such items. For Autumn 2026, Pandora offers a new iteration of this emblematic collection – one imbued with celestial meaning, and whose astrological vibes are outta this world.

This newly launched, Zodiac-inspired chapter of Pandora's Talisman collection is a bright new star in the brand’s sustainable jewellery universe, bringing astrology to the modern accessories wardrobe.

With designs that encompass medallions representing the 12 zodiac signs, as well as expressive rings and foundational chain necklaces, the launch expands upon the collection’s realm of symbolic motifs. Zodiac medallions sit at the very centre of the collection, capturing the unique attributes that form each sign’s individual character – ranging from Leo’s passion, through to Capricorn’s loyalty. Charms created with inspiration taken straight from the four elements – earth, water, air and fire – and forged of high-quality materials complement the assortment.

Crafted in mixed metals, with meticulous hand finishes and time-honed textures to resemble excavated artefacts, the pieces are designed to be layered, stacked and collected – all in accordance with the symbolic and intimate meaning that speaks to the individual wearer.

These emblems of identity include an adjustable T-bar necklace: designed to carry pendants, it can be personalised with different cosmic markers each day – symbolic of life's ever-evolving journey. The mantra "Through hardships to the stars" graces a rotating Sun and Moon Flip Ring, transforming ancient words of wisdom into an up-to-date reminder of both possibility, and resilience. Expanding the intricate details are fragments of man-made mother of pearl, carved cameos, and stone constellations, along with hidden Latin inscriptions and allegorical motifs.

Each design is crafted using 14-karat gold plating and sterling silver, and is meant to celebrate individuality, identity, and self-expression, with every piece capable of resonating the style and confidence of the wearer.

As Pandora Creative Directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli explain, “Imperfectly beautiful, the Talismans are more than jewellery; they are quiet affirmations, whispered reminders of strength, hope and destiny. Together, the inscriptions form a poetic tapestry – a hymn to life and the values we carry forward.”

Fittingly, for such celestially charged jewellery, the campaign for the collection revolves around someone who was born to be a star: Alex Consani. Alongside fellow models Mahi Kabra and Jill Kortleve, Consani features in imagery captured by acclaimed photographer Cass Bird, whose series of dynamic images and films explores identity as something layered and ever-evolving.

A major player since she burst onto the scene in 2015, Consani has graced the catwalks of the biggest names in fashion, featured as the face of multiple campaigns, and amassed millions of followers across social media. Her tremendous influence is such that she was named Model of The Year at the 2024 Annual UK Fashion Awards, a recognition that is not only reflective of her successful career, but which also encompasses her tremendous impact beyond fashion. The award is a notable and history-making acknowledgment: Consani is the first transgender woman to receive the award, a further confirmation of her significance and influence in the world today.

Consani admits to being "obsessed with the Flip Rings, especially the rotating Sun and Moon ring." Referencing its inscribed mantra, she says, "I think is such a beautiful reminder of resilience, growth, and endless possibility."

Unsurprisingly for the Leo model, Consani's favourite piece of the collection is her own star sign's medallion: "I love that its inscription translates to 'Let your light shine,' which feels very fitting." As for how much she recognises the traits of her sign, "People always tell me that I'm warm, open, and kind, which feels very Leo to me. I'm definitely someone who wears my heart on my sleeve. I'm sensitive and empathetic, but also very outgoing and expressive. I love connecting with people and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. So whether or not you believe in astrology, I think there are a few Leo traits that really ring true for me."

To celebrate Pandora's Talisman Zodiac collection launch, Consani co-hosted an immersive event in Los Angeles, meticulously planned to coincide with the eve of the Sturgeon Moon. So named by the Algonquin-speaking indigenous people of the Great Lakes region of the United States, the August full moon references the time of the year when the species of fish was abundantly available in the waters, and represents a time associated with abundance, wisdom, gratitude – and the surfacing of hidden emotions.

Under the glow of the Sturgeon Moon, Consani welcomed guests to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where invitees partook in a night designed to honour authentic self-expression. The celebratory soirée saw attendees such as Dove Cameron, Ashe, Charlotte Lawrence, Vivian Jenna Wilson, Scout LaRue Willis, Ava Philippe, Terrence O’Connor, and more revel under the late Autumn lunar light.

The celebration brought Pandora’s Zodiac-inspired collection to life, drawing inspiration from astrology, symbolism and the focus on self-expression that have shaped the Talisman collection’s latest iteration. Throughout the evening, Pandora offered interactive experiences – from tarot readings and zodiac roulette, to personalised daily horoscopes curated by astrologer Chani Nicholas.

An interactive zodiac confessional wall, and a “Discover Your Talisman” experience rounded out the festivities, and the Talisman Bar supplied guests with cocktails and light bites, all to the soundtrack of a DJ set by Kitty Ca$h. With the late summer moon acting as a celestial disco ball, the night culminated in a special live performance by British artist, singer-songwriter and producer Griff.
