Romance is alive and well, if the latest collection from buzzy Swedish jewellery brand Maria Nilsdotter is anything to go by. Entitled simply Romance, the line-up of new bijoux broadens the label’s bridal and fine jewellery offering, ushering in a new era for the brand as it expands its presence in the bridal sphere.
Like all of Maria Nilsdotter’s designs, the Romance pieces are infused with unique character. Meticulously crafted from recycled 18K gold, the collection boasts engagement rings and wedding bands embellished with exquisite natural diamonds, and a selection of necklaces and earrings adorned with precious gemstones and freshwater pearls.

“Each jewellery piece in the Romance line exudes elegance with an unconventional twist,” the brand says. “True to her artistic vision, the designer [Maria Nilsdotter] ensures that each piece tells its own unique narrative.” Think organic shapes, spikes, and signature claws that delicately hold fine gemstones such as Moçambique Garnets and Aquamarines, promising to add a touch of edge to any wedding attire.
