Lorde and Emma Chamberlain get the ultimate Acne Studios co-sign as the first to wear looks off the Swedish brand’s spring/summer '24 runway
What do Lorde and Emma Chamberlain have in common? They both wore looks fresh off the Acne Studios spring/summer '24 runway to GQ’s star-studded Man of the Year party. Wearing two contrasting looks from the Swedish brand’s afterparty-themed show (complete with monstrous disco ball), the songstress and the social media maven become the very first to step out in the collection – a massive co-sign from our region’s most prominent fashion house.

Both Lorde and Chamberlain’s fits reflected trends sure to be inescapable come spring. Lorde’s silk jewel-toned dress featured a navel-baring cut-out – an expression seen across Parisian runways this season. Meanwhile, Chamberlain’s teeny tiny leather hot pants – worn with matching second-skin leather jacket – are the runaway short silhouette sure to dominate street style come warmer weather. Styled by Jared Ellner, both women finished their looks with tonal tights and open-toe pumps.
If history is any indication, once a star begins nabbing favourable Acne Studios pulls (ahem, Kylie Jenner) the likelihood that they will pop up in a campaign increases tenfold. Also worth noting: Chamberlain sat front row at the spring/summer show, receiving significant coverage on the brand’s livestream. Watch this space.
