Laufey serves a hat-trick at Wimbledon 2025

Fresh from her Glastonbury debut, jazz-pop sensation Laufey takes on another British summer staple, serving timeless elegance courtside at Wimbledon 2025

After captivating the audience as Noah Kahan’s surprise guest at Glastonbury 2025, the Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter Laufey continues to immerse herself in the summer’s hottest moments with an appearance at Wimbledon 2025.

The singer is not one to shy away from a whimsical statement, whether charming in a pink ballgown or gracing red carpets with a hand-painted cat clutch, Laufey's own unique fingerprint can be found on just about every look she dons. At Wimbledon, the Icelandic-Chinese star stood out in an all-black ensemble – a striking contrast against the sea of crisp whites and summer pastels. Her dress, with its asymmetric waistline and playfully ruched skirt, felt perfectly in-tune with her whimsical aesthetic. The singer paired the look with ruffle-trimmed socks and Mary-Jane ballet flats – a signature touch – and she swapped a traditional necklace for a black ribbon tied neatly around her neck.

In a subtle nod to Wimbledon tradition, the ensemble was topped off with a classic boater hat with pastel-pink bow trim, blending the elements of the singer’s style that we know and love, together with the more traditional dress code of the iconic London event. With her third studio album A Matter of Time arriving in late August, more memorable fashion – and music – moments are surely on the horizon.
