When Jenny Andersson and Josef Bosaeus lost their dream wedding venue just days before saying 'I do,' they had to rethink two years of planning in just 72 hours. Cue a last-minute Italian palazzo, a custom Ida Lanto gown and a celebration that turned out even better than they could have imagined
Some love stories begin with a romantic gesture. Others, apparently, with a business card. Jenny Andersson and Josef Bosaeus first crossed paths in 2015, when Andersson was studying law and working part-time at a reception desk. Bosaeus regularly visited the building for meetings, and although the pair exchanged glances, they never quite managed a proper conversation – until his final visit.
"When I turned [his visitor's pass] over, he had hidden his business card underneath (we had those back then), with a note saying 'Dinner?'" Andersson recalls. "I felt like I was in a movie." Their first date took place at his home, where Bosaeus cooked dinner. "On my way home I remember thinking to myself, 'Oh my god, this could be him, he could be the one.' And he was."
Years later, Bosaeus proposed at sunset aboard a boat in the Seychelles, whilst the couple were supposedly searching for dolphins. The romance was considerably less complicated than what would follow.
