The new It-girl coded coat of the season is brought to you by this Swedish brand

By Isa Zweiback

Lately, it's been hard to miss a certain Swedish brand dominating the winter outerwear game, as endorsed by global It girls. Bringing a welcome dose of glamour to our cold-weather rota, this is the Malina coat the style set is currently coveting

'Mob wife' may have been all the rage last winter, but 12 months on, a singular design from Malina is proving its timeless appeal. It comes courtesy of Malina, or to be more specific, the Scandinavian brands second collaboration with Dutch style maven Anouk Yve. With its rich caramel-hued cashmere and wool construction, trimmed with luxe faux-fur trim, its the Kappa coat from this coveted capsule that is being slipped over the shoulders of trend-setters and A-listers alike.

Take Dutch influencer Claire Rose who was seen sporting the coat while galavanting the streets of Manhattan just last week. Or British actress Annabelle Wallis who turned heads during a night out in Beverly Hills alongside her partner Sebastian Stan. To say it's a fan favourite would be an understatement. Even Vogue Scandinavia's beauty and fashion news editor Josefin Forsberg gives her stamp of approval to the Kappa coat that is on high rotation in her own winter outerwear rotation, saying: "I’ve never felt more luxurious in my life than when I wear this coat” adding that she's “even worn it over sweatpants while shopping," proving it can bring a dose of glamour to almost any sartorial scenario this season.
