Ida Zeile likes her mornings quiet and her skincare cold. Before the day begins, the model-creative reaches for an ice roller, gua sha and a set of eye patches straight from the fridge to coax her skin back to life. Between constant travel and long days on set, Zeile keeps her routine minimal, swearing by the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask for a lasting, plump glow and a swipe of blush for that just-back-from-holiday flush. Here, she opens up about her fridge-fresh rituals, her love of sun-kissed simplicity, and the products she refuses to leave home without
Could you share your daily beauty routine with us, from morning prep to evening wind-down? What products are essential at each step?
"I like to set my alarm extra early so I can have a quiet moment to myself before the day begins. I usually wake up super puffy, so I head straight to the fridge for my ice roller, gua sha, and eye patches – my little ritual to feel alive again. When it comes to skincare, I’ve learned that less is more. My skin loves the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – it keeps me hydrated and plump, so I use it as my everyday moisturiser. I finish with the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Moist Sun Serum, SPF 50, which adds the perfect extra glow.
On my days off, I try to let my skin rest. Having different makeup artists work on your face all the time can be rough on the skin, so when I can I like to just let it breathe. But when I do my own makeup, I do a bronzed, natural makeup with tons of blush – I love to look like I’ve just been kissed by the sun."

How do you transition your look from daytime to evening? Are there specific products or techniques you find indispensable?
"I usually stick to the same makeup look whether it’s daytime or a night out. Thanks to all the hydration from my morning routine – and a few spritzes of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray – my makeup stays in place all day. If I’m feeling a little extra, I’ll add some bronzer and a soft brown winged eyeliner."
What products do you always have in your handbag – whether headed for a night out or for a red-eye flight?
"Lip liner is my ultimate beauty essential. I refuse to leave the house without The Make Up For Ever pencil in shade 606, Wherever Walnut. I’m also never without the Dior Addict Lip Glow Butter, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Finishing Powder, and my signature scent, Giorgio Armani My Way. The amount of compliments I get when I wear it is honestly insane."

What is your holy grail beauty product that you would recommend to anyone, and why?
"The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask honestly does wonders for my skin. I travel like a maniac, constantly moving between different climates, so I need all the hydration I can get. I’ve worn it a few times before work, and every time, makeup artists comment on how plump and hydrated my skin looks."
If you could give your younger self one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
"Less is more. Embrace your natural features and what makes you unique instead of trying to hide them – and please, stop tanning without SPF!"
