Relaxed luxury permeated House of Dagmar’s spring/summer 2022 collection

Balance seemed to be the keyword for sisters and co-founders of House of Dagmar Sofia Wallenstam, Karin Söderling and Kristina Tjäder as they created this season’s signatures; A chunky grandpa cardigan with ornate gold buttons. An easy shirt with utility pockets in sheer silk organza. A military bouclé jacket.

The effortless elegance of the collection reflects on post-pandemic dressing and the crossway between comfort and fashion. Key looks came in a palette of white, stone and tobacco with pops of poppy red. We were shown a relaxed pyjama for multi-functional dressing that works just as well for a night at home as for a dinner out with friends. On the menu was also a brushed alpaca knit dress that transitions from the couch to the cocktail party. A linen suit paired with a crisp shirt and poplin dresses flirted with a more formal future where we don’t have to sacrifice fashion for comfort.
