Actor, author, activist (and dog mum, as her Instagram bio reminds us) Gillian Anderson is firmly back on the press circuit, proving her range extends far beyond any single role. Fresh from promoting the sci-fi epic Tron: Ares, The X-Files alum is now making the rounds for her latest TV venture, Trespasses. And while the drama – set against the charged backdrop of the Irish Troubles – promises emotional heft, it was Anderson’s decisively Scandinavian styling on Jimmy Kimmel Live that has us distracted for now.
The actress cut a strikingly polished figure in Malina’s black 'Diora' top – a clean, off-the-shoulder silhouette – paired with tailored black trousers and slim heeled sandals for a crisp, monochromatic look.

This was not the only Malina moment the actress has served up recently; when appearing on British talk show This Morning, Anderson opted for the ‘Bea’ blouse from Malina: a clean, graphic take on Scandinavian minimalism. The cream shirt, traced with fine black piping, was styled simply with high-waisted tailored trousers and a low ponytail - a look that landed as polished, modern, and unfussy.
