July 5th

On the 5th of July, Paris was red hot with Valentino. Bringing show-goers to a Chateau, the street style stepping onto pebble-covered paths amongst manicure baroque bushes could only be described as regal. Elsewhere, Balenciaga's usual cool crept into trompe-l'œil dresses and the exaggerated trench coats we're currently coveting.

July 4th

Chanel day saw several tweed looks hit the streets of Paris – be they on par with the blushing Barbiecore trend, embellished, or patriotically tricolour printed. Elsewhere, Balenciaga's armour inspired full-body sequins, while biker boots stepped forward as the shoe of the moment.

July 3rd

Haute Couture's autumn/winter 2023 season kicked off on the 3rd of July with Danish supermodel Mona Tougaard opening the Schiaparelli show in an exaggerated black and white collar. The style set that congregated for the occasion could be found emulating the otherworldly creations by Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry and Thom Browne's updated American prep (both showing on this day), while the attendees at Dior clung to the cinched new New Look.

July 2nd

Alaïa's off-schedule show on Sunday night had the city of lights bubbling with sartorial flair. As the crowd gathered by the Seine, the scene was set by street stylers sporting hoods, sultry sheer dresses, and Alaïa Le Coeur bags aplenty on the street of Paris.
