Gant partners with the Nordea Open and launches a bespoke capsule collection this July, taking its signature Ivy League style to Centre Court
Each summer, the Nordea Open transforms the Swedish coastal town of Båstad into one of tennis’s most picturesque destinations. Played on outdoor clay courts, the tournament brings together top players from the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for a week of world-class competition at the Scanian seaside setting. And this year, not just aces, but signature looks will be served at the Nordea Open, as global lifestyle brand Gant takes on the role of Official Partner, and sets the sartorial tone both on and off the court.

As one of the oldest international professional tennis tournaments in the world, the Nordea Open is a staple of Swedish summer. The tournament has been voted ATP 250 Tournament of the Year by its players 13 times, most recently in 2025. Not only is the Båstad Tennis Stadium the largest tennis arena in the Nordics, the place is steeped in both Swedish and Royal history – Ludwig Nobel, nephew of Alfred Nobel, first built a tennis court on the site in 1907, and from 1925, Båstad hosted the Swedish National Tennis Championships. For many years, Sweden’s King Gustav V was both an enthusiastic spectator and avid player at the venue, known on the courts by his pseudonym, ‘Mr G’. From 1948, the Swedish Open has taken place yearly, becoming the Nordea Open in 2020 when Nordea took over as title sponsor.
At this year’s edition – which takes place from 6 to 19 July – a distinct identity will be apparent thanks to Gant's integral partnership contribution. All on-court personnel, from ball kids to tournament crew, will be outfitted in bespoke uniforms designed exclusively by Gant for the event, embodying the brand’s signature blend of timeless style and sporting ease. Founded in 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut, Gant’s American sportswear roots were formed in the universities of the American East Coast – where, fittingly, tennis has occupied a large role. The partnership is therefore a natural extension of Gant’s longstanding, instinctive relationship with tennis, a meeting of appreciation for heritage, sportswear and timeless style.
Of the “perfect match” partnership with Gant, Nordea Open’s Managing Director Christer Hult says, “Together, we look forward to creating an elevated experience for players, and visitors alike, and to have the most stylish team dressed in Gant clothing.”

In addition to the tournament outfitting and on-site activations, Gant is releasing a limited Gant Tournament Capsule Collection of apparel and accessories developed exclusively alongside the partnership. In signature green and cream colours, the tennis-inspired collection includes polo shirts, T-shirts, shorts, hoodies and caps, featuring tennis-inspired graphics and a dedicated brand logo. At the Nordea Open, the collection will be available in an on-site pop-up store.
“We are proud to partner with the Nordea Open, one of Scandinavia’s most iconic summer sporting events,” said Fredrik Malm, CEO of Gant. “The tournament’s combination of international tennis, heritage, and summer lifestyle makes it a natural fit for Gant. Sport has always been part of our DNA, and we look forward to bringing Gant’s signature style to the tournament while connecting with tennis enthusiasts on and off the court”. Thanks to Gant’s contribution in Båstad this year, the winning combination at the Nordea Open will be game, set, and impeccably matched outfits.
The exclusive capsule will be available at select Gant stores and gant.com, as well as at the Nordea Open’s pop-up Gant store.
