The Icelandic icon took to the decks while Isabelle Huppert, Vicky Krieps and Luca Guadagnino lit up the dance floor

Björk, clad in a red, hairy frock by Swedish designer Stine Randestad, approaches the decks towards the end of the Reykjavík Film Festival honouree dinner. Up until now, it had been a delightful, low-key affair, held in a private room by the rooftop bar of The Reykjavík EDITION hotel. Luxembourgish actress Vicky Krieps held court, even performing a sweet a cappella performance towards the end of the truffle-heavy dessert course. At the other end of the table, director Luca Guadagnino, an honouree of the festival, chatted with his pals.

But now, we gather on the dance floor, led by none other than festival honouree Isabelle Huppert. She pulls up her Balenciaga velvet hood for the occasion and dances, fancy free, as Iceland’s reigning queen spins a wild mix of reggae, pop and electronic bangers. Huppert is a great dancer – it’s a treat to behold.

As the night winds down, we decamp to the speakeasy cocktail bar TÖLT on the hotel's lower level to help Björk comb out her hairy frock. See all the photos below.
