Before they take to the decks at The Aurora's Vogue Scandinavia Lounge, the duo that form fashion's favourite DJ double act, Doppelganger Paris, share their style tips and on-repeat tracks
Meet Doppelganger Paris – the Paris-based creative duo composed of identical twins Regis and Brice Abby. Equal parts DJs, visual artists and experiential alchemists, the pair have become known for crafting soundscapes that blur the line between performance, experience and pure fun.
With a résumé that spans fashion, art and culture, their recent sets have included sound design for Lamborghini at Elysée Montmartre and a bespoke performance for the And Just Like That world premiere in Paris, hosted at the Fondation Cartier with Sarah Jessica Parker in attendance. Next up? Doppelganger Paris will take over the Vogue Scandinavia Lounge at The Aurora, providing the sonic backdrop for our inaugural luxury destination experience.

Of course, it won’t be their first time in Sweden. A few years ago, the Abby twins touched down in Stockholm for the Clash de Cartier party – a standout moment that left a lasting impression. In fact, the Swedish capital has become something of a second home to them.
“One of our favourite places for a long time was Bistro Jarl, owned by Per Nordling, but sadly this beautiful place doesn't exist anymore,” they share. In its place, the twins recommend go-to Stockholm spots such as Grand Hôtel – “a classic in the city” – along with Strandbryggan Sea Club, and Villa Dagmar which the twins feel has a Parisian, Hotel Costes-esque atmosphere.. When it comes to art, it’s Moderna Museet that tops their list: “It’s a wonderful museum with masterpieces of art history, like Le Grand Verre by Marcel Duchamp and beautiful Yves Klein paintings.”

When not behind the decks, the duo are acclaimed visual artists, having exhibited with Spinello Projects during Art Basel Miami Beach and New York’s Armory Art Week. Their work often centres on themes of duality and distortion – an ongoing exploration of the self as seen through the lens of their own twinship.
The musical taste of the duo - who are also established music producers - also clearly extends far beyond dancefloor classics, with their current on-repeat tracks including eclectic and cinematic compositions such as 'An Eye for Optical Theory' by Michael Nyman and Ludwig Göransson's 'Tenet' soundtrack.
Now, with an experimental EP on the way, merging their visual research with sound, Doppelganger Paris continue to expand their universe – one atmospheric set (and perfectly timed beat drop) at a time. But first, to Båstad with Vogue Scandinavia.
