There is no doubting that Swedish stylist and creative director Hanna MW has mastered the art of creating interest in outfits through carefully considered shapes and materials. “It's important for me to feel comfortable, yet stylish and practical in my everyday wear,’ Hanna says. It's her view that being at ease shouldn't mean sacrificing a directional sense of style, and quite frankly, we agree.

What are the accessories that instantly elevate any outfit?
I always tend to reach for my brown Ray-Ban Wayfarers, those sunglasses go with all types of styles and looks, therefore I always keep these with me in my bag. You can also never go wrong with a good old vintage tennis necklace. It is a piece of jewellery I always wear and I would say that it is the perfect accessory to elevate any outfit for special occasions or everyday wear, adding a touch of elegance.
If you had to curate your own daily uniform. what would it consist of and why?
If I were to curate my daily uniform, it would consist of a V-neck knitted sweater on top of a white basic T-shirt. V-neck sweaters are versatile and suitable for various occasions I would say, just like a turtleneck: a classy and timeless piece that can be easily dressed up or down. It is important for me to feel comfortable yet stylish and practical in my everyday wear.
What item or piece of clothing gets the most use in your wardrobe and why?
I would say that my go-to outfit for every day is a pair of Levi's vintage jeans paired with a nice blazer with sharp shoulder pads or a good leather jacket. My absolute favourite leather jacket is the one I bought three years ago from Balenciaga at an outlet outside of Los Angeles. This is a simple yet stylish look that makes me feel comfortable, the key for me is the quality and craftsmanship.

What are the 3 pieces everyone needs to consistently nail a great outfit?
I would once again mention the perfect vintage Levi’s jeans styled with a sharp jacket, especially one of my favourite coats from Balenciaga. Then I would say that a timeless bag of high quality is a perfect item to add to the look. Perhaps the bag is an old leather bag that has been kept in your parents' closet that you know you'll be able to treasure forever.
If you could only wear one type of accessory again, what would it be and why?
If I could only wear one type of accessory it would of course be my engagement ring that my fiancé Jimmy has designed. But if I still was able to wear the ring and choose something else it would be a Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas watch, a dream watch of mine that I hope to purchase someday.
When you don't know how to style something, what do you reach for in your wardrobe?
I would say a pair of nice shoes is always a great statement piece to style any classy and simple look with. I recently purchased a pair of Loewe shoes that elevates any daily look just perfectly. Alongside my new Loewe shoes I wear my Maison Margiela Tabis a lot, they are a perfect pair of versatile shoes. So my answer would be – a great pair of shoes!
