This coming season, Bite Studios builds on what it has already created
"Some of you might recognise the environment," says Bite Studios co-founder William Lundgren as he introduced his latest collection over breakfast on Tuesday morning. We're standing in Stockholm's Galleri Andersson / Sandström, where the brand shoots the majority of its lookbooks – HQ for the Bite universe, if you will.
His partner and COO Veronika Kant clarifies that though we are attending SFW AW22, this is in fact "Collection 9" for the London/Stockholm-based brand. "We want the collections to evolve and build upon each other," she says.
This time around, trousers feature exaggerated fold-up cuffs – mimicking the brand's extended cuffs on their signature silk shirts. Overcoats similarly offer massive lapels. And then, the showstopper, a fluid silk dress, poured over the body like water, made from leftover materials from previous collections – quite literally building on what was.
