Sanders Roof Terrace

As you walk onto the terrace at the Hotel Sanders, hygge permeates your very being. Lush green plants and wicker chairs create an ambience of bohemia, while round marble tables and some sharp lines add a touch of Nordic minimalism to the experience. With limited seating and a glass-covered roof, it’s a great destination for a little tête-a-tête come rain or shine, and with natural light and atmospheric views guaranteed all year round, it's no wonder that the bar is a favourite among locals.

The hotel's award-winning cocktail bar Tata helps provide the alcoholic mixes on the menu, with each drink coming with a twist such as edible accoutrements or theatre-related references that pay homage to the Royal Danish Theatre, which is just up the road. Handpicked organic wines are also available from Sanders Kitchen, making the terrace a sumptuous summer retreat or a welcome antidote to the Danish winter.

Whether it's for a fresh juice after a morning swim, a lunchtime coffee or a hand-crafted cocktail during sundown, the Nimb Roof transcends all seasons making summer last all year round.

Due to popular demand and to maintain a calm atmosphere, the rooftop is reserved for hotel guests and Nimb Club Members only for most of the year. But don't fret; throughout the summer, the rooftop opens to the public on selected evenings for special “Summer in the City” events.
