Opening in June, Atelier Saman Amel’s London space will offer extraordinary craftsmanship in a stunning environment

Born from the bond between childhood friends Saman Amel and Dag Granath, Atelier Saman Amel has been a luminary of Scandinavian elegance since it was founded in Stockholm in 2015. Its mission? To cultivate a sanctuary for exquisite, timeless craftsmanship by way of handmade tailoring. And it’s worked – out of the brand’s humble, Stockholm atelier, the duo’s made-to-measure menswear has earned international acclaim.

“Our values focus on the idea of time spent well,” says Amel. “Things of quality take time to grow and this is reflected in our approach to producing garments, building our physical spaces as well as our relationships with clients. We fundamentally believe that the more time and effort you put into something, the better and long-lasting that thing will be.”

This June, the duo embark on a new chapter as they expand to London's Mayfair with a new atelier. Designed in collaboration with renowned retail architects Halleroed (who also designed the Stockholm atelier), the space will bring Atelier Saman Amel’s ethos to a city that knows a thing or two about well-tailored menswear.

“For us, opening our atelier in London is truly a milestone," says Granath. “While the space will carry a similar Swedish Grace-infused sensibility as our Stockholm atelier, we are really putting our focus on deepening client relationships beyond clothing at the forefront in London. The focus is to show our London client work that cannot be found elsewhere in the city - not only in terms of our clothes but also within art and design.’’

Atelier Saman Amel opens at 17 Albemarle Street in June as is by appointment only via samanamel.com
