Fashion month is well and truly afoot, and one trend that's hard to ignore is the surge of Scandinavian models striding down the world's most illustrious runways. From New York to Milan, Paris to London, these are the names and faces to note

This season, it seems our homegrown runway talents aren't just walking the shows; they are owning them – stealing the spotlight with every poised step. If you consider yourself a runway connoisseur or simply love tracking the industry's next big names, this Northern wave of talent cannot be overlooked. New York Fashion Week

This season at New York Fashion Week, Nordic models made notable appearances in several high-profile shows. Beyond the trifecta of Swedish supermodels making their anticipated returns to the runways of Tibi, Helmut Lang, and LaQuan Smith, our favourite faces could be found stepping onto a myriad of runways brandishing their effortless Scandi-cool. Vilma Sjöberg's signature bright blond hair was slicked back in a bun for the entire week while Sascha Alexandra Lilja's penetrating gaze has us all captivated at Jason Wu, Altuzarra and Khaite.

Swedish model Sasha Rajasalu represented by Mikas

18 year old Sasha Rajasalu made her runway debut in the fashion circuit walking for Prada's spring/summer 2023 season last year. Since then, the model has walked for almost every major fashion house – spanning Givenchy, Miu Miu, and Max Mara's latest resort show in Stockholm, inspired by Selma Lagerlöf.


Swedish model Nora Svenson represented by Nisch Management

Nora Svenson began her career as a Bottega girl, walking for the brand's spring/summer 2021 show in 2020 and later starring in following campaign. A versatile model who bridges both runway and editorial, her face has become a favourite of Hermès – appearing on the French Maison's runway for the last three seasons.


Swedish model Vilma Sjöberg represented by Mika's

Since 2018, supermodel-to-be Vilma Sjöberg has walked 142 shows. Debuting at Saint Laurent's autumn/winter 2019 collection, she has been a frequent face on the French maison's runway ever since – also appearing at almost every big player's catwalks, be it Dries Van Noten, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Burberry or Fendi.


Swedish model Tida represented by Stockholmsgruppen

Tida Rosvall is a Louis Vuitton girl through-and-through. Not only did she debut with Louis Vuitton during the brand's autumn/winter 2022 show at the Musée d'Orsay. She has also walked every show since, stepping out on the occasional Sportmax or Max Mara runway as well.


Danish model Ida Heiner represented by Scoop Models

Another veritable runway fiend, Danish Ida Heiner has amounted 80 shows over the past four years. Debuting at Louis Vuitton's spring/summer 2021 show, she's since become a veritable Chanel girl, first appearing in Chanel's haute couture 2022 show and cropping up on every Virgine Viard catwalk since.
