Aisha Potter will spend 90 minutes in a face mask on a flight and she's not sorry about it. The Swedish model and content creator approaches beauty the way most of us approach a wellness retreat: intentionally, unhurriedly, and with a cup of hibiscus tea in hand. Her routine runs the gamut from glow-giving foods to personalised skincare, always with the goal of enhancing what's already there, freckles very much included

Could you share your daily beauty routine with us, from morning prep to evening wind-down?
My morning routine is all about a slow start – I need at least two hours of alone time before I leave the house. But before anything, it’s coffee and eye patches because my face is always a little puffy in the morning. At night, I like to wind down with a hydrating face mask and get into bed watching YouTube vlogs. I’ll usually have a cup of hibiscus tea – aka beauty tea – and eat two golden kiwis. It’s my little nightly ritual.
How do you transition your look from daytime to evening? Are there specific products or techniques you find indispensable?
To take my look from day to night, I always add individual lashes to the outer corners for a more flirty, cat-eye effect. I’ll build up my blush and bronzer a bit more, and intensify my lips – sometimes even adding a gloss for extra shine. Then I finish it off with a deeper, more intense fragrance. Honestly, there’s no better accessory than a really good perfume to elevate your whole vibe.

What products do you always have in your handbag – whether headed for a night out or for a red-eye flight?
I always keep my lip combo and a hydrating face mist with me – they’re both so versatile. My lip liner isn’t just for my lips; I’ll use it to softly contour my eyes or nose, fill in my freckles freckles, or even fill in my brows if I don’t have my usual products. And a hydrating face mist comes in handy for everything – it can double as a quick hand hydrator, a light hair moisturizer when my ends feel dry, or to smooth down flyaways when I’m wearing a slick-back look.
What is your holy grail beauty product that you would recommend to anyone, and why?
My Biodance collagen face mask is my go-to whenever my skin feels dull or I just need a quick glow-up. I layer on all my favorite skincare first – something hydrating if I’m dry, something soothing if my skin’s irritated – basically tailoring it to exactly what my skin needs. Then I apply the Biodance collagen mask on top and let it really sink in, locking everything in and working its magic. It feels like a mini at-home facial. Plus, it’s such a relaxing moment where I get to slow down and have a bit of time to myself. It’s perfect for traveling too, you’ll look crazy on the flight but so worth! Touching down to your destination with a glow.

If you could give your younger self one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
You’ll grow into your features and learn to love them, especially your freckles. I used to pile on the fullest coverage foundation just to hide them, and now they’re my favorite feature. I can’t even imagine my face without them. And lastly, I’d definitely tell my younger self: please wear SPF.
