Vogue Scandinavia Living has officially landed, and the unveiling of the first edition was cause for celebration
Last night in Stockholm, interior and design elite gathered to toast the arrival of Vogue Scandinavia Living. Amid Nordiska Galleriet’s exquisite curation of furnishings, guests mingled around vignettes of sculptural lighting, marble tables and plush seating – each forming a backdrop worthy of the inaugural new Living edition. Copies of the freshly-released October-November issue were placed throughout the space, opened to a particularly special spread: the very first Vogue Scandinavia Living cover, starring legendary Danish architect Bjarke Ingels and his charming Rørvig summerhouse.
Guests included artists and designers who have shaped the magazine’s creative world: Alice Herbst, Fanny Ollas – whose porcelain works and pink studio appear in the issue – and creative duo Madelen and Robert Möllard, also featured on the magazine's pages. They were joined by a host of creative heavyweights: stylists, designers, curators and media gurus.
Taking to the stage, editor in chief Martina Bonnier shared her reflections on the milestone moment with the gathered crowd. “In the Nordics, fashion, design and living have always been deeply integrated with each other,” she said. “We’ve covered design and interiors since the very beginning, but introducing Vogue Scandinavia Living means we can celebrate this category with the dedicated space and spotlight it deserves.”
Celebrations continued with cocktails and a live performance from Kid08. All in all, a stylish toast to the beginning of a new era of Nordic storytelling.
