What is fashion month without a handful of viral moments? We round-up the stunts, sightings and theatrics that have show-goers (and the internet) all abuzz this season so far

The circus continues as show season rolls into London. We’ve already had Oscar nominee Florence Pugh popping up to open Harris Reed (where none other than Mayor of London Sadiq Khan was on the front row) and a Vanessa Williams sighting thanks to her ongoing stint in the West End. The Devil, it seems, wears Mithridate. Take a look at all the best moments from autumn/winter '25 so far.

Marc Jacobs gave us fever-dream fantasy

Kicking things off with a love letter to all things surreal and oversized, Marc Jacobs sent models stomping down the runway in cartoonish proportions, exaggerated doll-like makeup and storybook-style shoes that wouldn’t look out of place on the toes of Rumpelstiltskin and Roy Lichtenstein’s love child. Adding to the occasion, Lisa Rinna made an appearance in horn-toed heels and a flared skirt that deserves its own storyline on Real Housewives, while Sofia Coppola proved she really is Mother, arriving with her daughter Cosima in tow. – Olivia Allen

Jimmy Choo served up our dream dinner party guests

Runways may bring the spectacle, but the real magic happens at the after-hours dinners. Campaign star and legendary It-girl Chloë Sevigny was joined by Martha Stewart, The Dare, and Patti Smith for a bite at the Jimmy Choo dinner, held at Jean’s. A far cry from overcooked risotto and awkward small talk, this was the stuff of dinner party dreams. What we wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall for those conversations. -OA

Here comes the bride

From bug eyes to bridal swag, Collina Strada delivered internet-breaking moments in spades with its “Fempire” show. Forget traditional wedding gowns, because Hillary Taymour was here to redefine what it means to walk down the aisle with this playful collection. In a riot of metallics, mismatched florals and sculptural silhouettes, models – including two brides who kissed at the end of the runway – stomped on convention and our TikTok feeds have been full of it ever since. - OA

A supermodel reunion at Calvin Klein

The most hotly anticipated brand on the New York schedule? Calvin Klein, which held its first runway show in nearly seven years, and the first under the helm of new creative director, Veronica Leoni. Kate Moss and Christy Turlington – who both walked for the brand during its ’90s heyday – were reunited on the front row, alongside the likes of Bad Bunny, Alexander Skarsgård, Simone Ashley and Christy’s daughter Grace Burns, as new-gen super Kendall Jenner took to the catwalk in the label’s trademark minimalist designs. - Emily Chan

Down the rabbit hole at Coach

Coach is strictly anti-heel this season, opting instead for something cosier and more child-friendly. Designed with a full sole for outdoor wear, these fuzzy bunny slippers take Stuart Vevers’s love for nostalgia and reinvention to new heights. It’s a noble second life for those childhood toys – though we’d recommend asking before repurposing someone else’s much-loved stuffed companion in the name of fashion. - OA

Florence Pugh brought the drama

Kicking off LFW was none other than Oscar-nominated actress Florence Pugh, who went full theatre monologue mode on the Harris Reed runway in a black hooded dress and sharp, angled corset, plus what looked like a padlock strapped to her back (if anyone knows how to bring the drama, it’s Pugh plus Reed), while strings in the background swept through some Metallica songs. “She’s just unapologetically badass,” the designer told British Vogue ahead of the show. “She is someone who is just [like], ‘I’m fucking who I am’ – and for me, that is a full representation of the Harris Reed brand, especially this season.” – Daisy Jones

Amandaland’s Lucy Punch traded So-Ha for the SS Daley show

Everyone’s favourite deluded divorcee is, as we know, the face and hair and brains and body of an incredibly exciting Instagram start-up, so it stands to reason that she should be front and centre at London Fashion Week. Lucy Punch, who plays the exquisitely cringe Amanda Hughes in Motherland and the show’s new spin-off, Amandaland, was lured away from So-Ha to attend the SS Daley show, joining the likes of Joely Richardson, Sheila Atim and Sebastian Croft on the front row. No doubt she got some great content for @Senuous, but her neighbour Mal was nowhere in sight (more’s the pity). – KM

Completedworks gave us a QVC-inspired show via ’90s star Debi Mazar

While it’s unusual for a jewellery brand to put on a show, Completedworks has broken the mould with its humorous performances, which kicked off with Joanna Lumley last year. This season, it was the turn of Goodfellas star Debi Mazar, who played the role of a QVC-type host (selling the brand’s range of pearl earrings and glass homeware, naturally), with a bladder problem – bringing some much needed levity to proceedings. – Emily Chan

Richard Quinn ushered show-goers into a snow-filled fantasia

There were audible gasps when guests stepped onto the set of Richard Quinn’s autumn/winter 2025 extravaganza: a snowy street scene complete with ice-dusted lampposts, which models – including the legendary Penelope Tree – weaved around in their shimmering bridal whites while clutching gorgeous bouquets. Truly jaw-dropping. – Radhika Seth

Lara Stone entered the Dilara Findikoglu hinterland

Lara Stone opened Dilara Findikoglu’s autumn/winter 2025 presentation in a corseted dress crafted from croc-embossed leathers. It was likely the first time a model of this stature had set foot in Elektrowerkz – a particularly industrial nightclub in north London – but she captured its essence well: mussed-up pigtails, bleached brows, an absent gaze you see only in the darkest corners of a warehouse rave at 9 am on a Sunday morning. Findikoglu said the collection explored the idea of metamorphosis, envisioning a metaphysical transition from the binds of life on earth to an emancipated existence on the planet Venus. Stone experienced a transformation of her own, too. – Daniel Rodgers

Alexa Chung, Bel Powley and Fiona Shaw were the stars of Simone Rocha

Though this season’s London schedule was missing a good number of its usual mainstays, fate wasn’t quite so cruel as to deprive us of Simone Rocha, who delivered a blockbuster show in the gilded enfilades of The City’s Goldsmiths’ Hall. A large part of what qualified it as a blockbuster outing were the faces that appeared on the runway. Counting Alexa Chung, Bel Powley, Andrea Riseborough, Fiona Shaw and Fionn O’Shea, it was easily one of the brand’s starriest casts to date – and that’s without even touching on the frow, from which two of Britain’s finest internet boyfriends (and the cast members’ actual boyfriends), Tom Sturridge and Douglas Booth, watched on. – Mahoro Seward
