Ah the '90s – slip dresses, chainmail tops and an obligatory swatch of frosted metallic eyeshadow over the lids. Thanks to our obsession with Euphoria, it seems this veteran makeup look is making a comeback complete with all the right kinds of shine and strategically placed wet-look sheen. So you can add a flourish to your daytime look this spring or really amp up the fun by night with enough shimmer to put Studio 54 in the shade.

As always, beauty has taken its cue from fashion. Balenciaga, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and Gucci all served up sequins on the SS22 catwalk. There was full-on body glitter at Blumarine; lit-copper lids at Chanel; iridescent pink shades at Valentino while coral sunset eyeshadow, and a touch of silver glitter in the middle, dominated at Anna Sui.
