Vogue Scandinavia celebrates its first anniversary with the newly launched Aug-Sept issue. Like always, here is the curated soundtrack to sonically enhance the vivid colours and striking images of the issue.

Moments like these are always times of reflection. Birthdays, anniversaries, a new year, all bring forth a feeling of nostalgia, both for the past and for the future that lies ahead. After one year of Vogue Scandinavia, the songs and albums that we have appreciated have provided the soundtrack to our lives and painted our memories.

This issue, with its always overarching themes of nature and diversity, also celebrates the classics with stories celebrating iconic Svenskt Tenn, the beauty of classical music in the modern age, and the ever-lasting appeal of vintage – to name a few.

This issue's soundtrack features songs that will never go out of style, like Monica Zetterlund's love letter to Stockholm in Sakta Vi Går Genom Stan (slowly we walk through the city), a Swedish cover of Nat King Cole's famous Walking My Baby Back Home. Mary J.Blige, Tove Lo, and even the London Symphony Orchestra also find their way onto the pages, because this is about old and new classics.

Whether quintessential staple songs or a genre-breaking new voice, like Swedish-Turkish-Colombian band Dina Ögon (Your eyes), the August-September issue's soundtrack will always resonate – just like the fabulous prints at Svenskt Tenn.
