For over a year now, Zara Larsson has been declaring that "summer isn't over yet," prompting outcries of "Zara, please stop singing – Europe is burning," as heatwaves have swept the continent.

Well, it seems that while the singer took some time to recuperate before hopping back on the festival circuit, the weather took notice: the season has cooled a little, specifically in Scandinavia. As temperatures dip into the lower twenties, our favourite sartorial Scandis have leaned into their all-too-well-practised layering.

Josefine Haaning Jensen, in her usual neutral tones, doubled up on tops, layering a black tank over a white tee. She completed the look with black wide-leg trousers, sandals, and the pièce de résistance: a black-and-white embroidered scarf with fringe detailing, slung across her hips as a mock belt. Best-dressed regular Linn Eklund also leaned into layering, popping an azure tee under her vintage cream Celine slip dress – an easy way to add an extra layer as summer starts to say goodbye.
