Shhhh, the Scandi celebs are sleeping. Try as we might, in the wake of award season, it seems many of our favourite A-listers are taking a well-earned break, keeping well out of the limelight. While we’re delighted for them, their absence does leave our best-dressed list missing that extra touch of star-powered magic.
Fret not, however, as our beloved social set has been serving as always (Insert clip of 16-year-old Harry Styles "I like...serve"), and this week the Hannas have come out on top.
It was a sartorial smörgåsbord in France as influencer and entrepreneur Hanna MW wed her partner of 16 years in a custom Magda Burtrym gown. In an interview with Vogue France, the stylist revealed that the handwoven dress required eight kilometres of yarn to make, and we can wholeheartedly say it was worth it. In attendance at the wedding, Hanna Stefansson stuck vehemently to MW's black dress code. The internet personality donned an architectural gown from Ilkyaz Ozel – a one-shoulder, dramatic piece with an exaggerated drop waist.
Paris seemed the place to be for most of the Scandi influences as Hanna Schönberg (yes, another Hanna) took to the Haussmann-lined streets in a high-low dress from her own brand Arakii. Could she have been inspired by the waterfall skirts we saw at Dior? Whatever the intention, we love it. Amirah Strand was also in the city of love this week, yet in a slightly more edgy ensemble than Schönberg, as she donned a trench coat (a must for the season and the city), Adidas trousers and an exquisite butter yellow bag.
