September is always one of fashion’s most exhilarating months. As the industry gears up for the spring/summer '26 shows, red carpets are already setting the tone with awards season glamour – and Scandinavian stars are ensuring all eyes remain firmly on them.
In Venice, Swedish Hollywood favourite Rebecca Ferguson stunned in a knit gown elevated to gala status by Toni Maticevski, while Alicia Vikander dazzled in midnight blue Louis Vuitton, complete with glittering jewels. Meanwhile, rising Norwegian talent Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas made a striking impression at the Toronto Film Festival in a strapless black pleated dress, cementing her place as one to watch.
Across the Atlantic in New York, Malin Åkerman brought sharp autumn tailoring courtside at the US Open, opting for a pinstripe suit featuring an oversized beige-and-white striped blazer and matching mini skirt.
